So a friend of mine just finished his tear down of his tank and gave me his 2 AC110s that he had. I have 2 on my 125 and they work great and I have no issues but can I add his 2 as well for the extra filtration? Or is there such thing as too much. I wouldnt think there would be but not sure.

I don't think there is such a thing as too much filtration. The extra filters can house extra media in case you need it ( such as a qt tank, etc )

The only thing I would worry about is if the flow ( even on the lowest setting ) is too much for your fish ( getting pushed around from the water flow )

Ive never noticed that problem with the 2 ACs I have on it now when they swim through the flow but I will keep an eye on it if/when I add the other 2. I didnt think you could have too much filtration but wanted to be sure.

No, only an unnecessarily high electric bill
