Can I get corydoras? What type?

I love corydoras but only have room for a 5 gallon tank. I was wondering if there are any species of cories I could get. I was thinking maybe dwarf cories? Aqadvisor said it was ok but I wanted to ask people on here.

 

I wouldn't. If you're going to anyway maybe you could get by with five or six Corydoras pygmaeus, but they're active fish and really need more room.

 

IMO even a 10G is to small for any Cory, so my advise is to not add any fish.

You could get 1 or 2 dwarf corys but that wouldn't be a good quality of life for them as they prefer to be in a group. In a 5G tank don't do any, in a 10G tank maybe 2-3. But ideally get a 20G and then you can get a school of them.
