Can I finally get my fish???

I've been cycling an eight gallon tank for almost two months now, and I think it's FINALLY ready. However, I am a bit worried about the pH. In my other two tanks the pH is solid 7.6 but this tank keeps testing somewhere between 6-6.4. I'm only planning on getting a betta for this tank

Ammonia = 0ppm
Nitrite = 0ppm
Nitrate = 0ppm (this tank has 7-8 plants so I think that's why the nitrate isn't showing up)

Do you think I can go ahead and get the fish??

From what I've seen, a betta would do just fine in a pH level around 6. Although they prefer water that is close to neutral pH (~7.0), a pH of 6.0-6.5 shouldn't have any adverse effects on the betta's health.

Have you been monitoring with a test kit? If the ammonia + nitrites went up and down, then you're cycled.
My tanks dont have any nitrates either so I understand your confusion. For me it seems to take a lot of ammonia to get the cycle going. and I think the best way to cycle is fishless with pure ammonia. How did you cycle it?

Yes, I have. Yeah, the ammonia and Nitrite have been going up and down. I've been dosing 4-5 ppm of pure ammonia and testing for the past 2 months. I'm 99% sure it's cycled finally

Sometimes a low PH can stall a cycle so i would just be cautious of that. If it were me getting those readings i would add the fish and monitor water parameters daily to ensure the ammonia and nitrites stay at zero. Aside from that good luck!

How many plants do you have.
Yeah it sounds like it's cycled. But somehtings taking that nitrate

How did you cycle it because the nitrate seems a little weird maybe you needed more Monia and did you test every day

I think it might be the plants causing the Nirate to be weird? plus I also did a water change right before testing. I dosed Ammonia then waited for it to go down to 0ppm, then added more. When the Ammonia started going down to 0 within 24hours, I started adding more every other day, for about another month and tested often.
