Can I Feed Goldfish Fry (culls) To A Betta?

My ranchus spawned and looking at the fry I see some obvious culls (very crooked spines, etc.). I have heard that bettas might eat fry and I want to know if I could feed my two boys one of the fry as a live food? Obviously, I am not going to give them all of the culls, but could they each eat one? The fry are very small now, maybe 3/4 of a cm.

Recycling at its finest! Even though I'm sure its fine, but as long as the fry is healthy - just birth defects - its fine.

My delta ate it happily, I just had to isolate him in his little cup floating in his tank with the fry and eventually he realized. For my Halfmoon I accidentally gave him two. He ate one, and now won't stop flaring at his reflection and the left the other fry alone. Eventually he realized it was also food and ate it. Then, he went back to flaring. Guess he likes it?

Feeding deformed fry to other fish is the absolute best way to do it. I've really been thinking of getting myself an Oscar for this very reason. It takes a while for African cichlid fry to start developing enough to tell who will be desirable or not and I don't think my bettas will be able to eat a 1in fry...
