Hello, I'm curious to know if plants that are fully submerged in the same tanks that have dead fish or covered in ich/fungus, would the plants have ich/fungus/parasites transfered onto them as well that you wouldn't be able to see?

If a dead fish is left in the tank , would it harm that plant to where you can't buy it?

This petsotre I go to have nice looking plants for sell but they always seem to have dead fish in the tank or fish covered in ich. Would the plants be infected too? How could I clean the plants ?

Yes.

A minimum three day plant QT is advised to mitigate the risk of transferring ich. Longer is better.

Dipping plants is also suggested. I use alum (primarily with the goal of killing snails) but potassium permanganate is a more popular choice.

There is a few different ways to dip your plant. Hydrogen peroxide, potassium pomegranate and bleach are the 3 most popular. Each has there pros and cons depending on which plants as some are more sensitive then others and what your trying to not transfer into your tank. The first 2 will kill pathogens but not snail eggs but its gentler then bleach. Bleach can kill everything including the plant. And alum though I haven't used it.

Id avoid it unless you want the hassle of disinfecting it. Better to be safe and to quarantine or disinfect.

Mostly, I wanted to comment because your username made me giggle.

That I'm not sure. I've never purchased it. Maybe hardware stores or Amazon.

Aluminum sulfate (alum) you can get in grocery stores in the spices or canning/pickling areas though it's cheaper per oz if you buy it in bulk from Amazon. I haven't had a snail sneak into my tanks yet.

Yes, never buy anything from a shop that has dead or sick fish in their tanks.
