bcfishtanks
Hello! I'm trying to do an early sexing of my honey gourami fry. I have one male in the main tank. I had to euthanize his partner a few weeks ago due to a camallanus infestation (the meds took so long to get here, sadly). I still have their single surviving fry that hatched at the end of July (the male dropped about 99% of the eggs himself), and it's almost ready to be released to the main tank.
It's been blowing mini bubble nests for the last week or two, but it also is getting more orange fins all the way around (its body is still silver). So I'm wondering if female honeys can blow bubble nests or not, to see if that will help me be able to sex it. Thanks!
