Can feeder fish that lived with ADFs be fed to axolotl

*sorry for the choppy title, i didnt have enough characters*

so im thinking about having a guppy breeding tank to feed some fry to my betta and axolotl. however, if there was a African dwarf frog living with the guppies and the fry, and I move the fry and feed them to my axolotl, would there be any negative side effects to my axolotl?
I'm wondering mainly about cross contamination. if the fry lived with the frog and they were fed, would anything from the frog be transferred to the axolotl? *all animals would be healthy, I'm talking about like if adfs have any natural bacteria in them that is harmful to axoltols? if that makes sense*

please and thank you! sry if its a little confusing to understand.

When I had an axolotl I fed him all my culls. To keep it humane, I would drop the fish in an ice bath so they were being fed freshly killed, plus there's no danger of the fish nipping the axolotl's gills. If you are worried about cross contaminations, you can freeze the guppies for a couple weeks (after they've been euthanized) and the freezing should kill off most pathogens. I personally wouldn't bother with it if they all appear to be healthy.

ive heard tho that even though you may not see anything with the fish, them being in the same space as a ADF can still harbor pathogens which may not be deadly to the fish so fish will be fine but if a axolotl eats the fish then they may get whatever the fish had?

And that is why I said you can freeze them if you are worried about it. This goes for any and all live foods, which is why some people strictly avoid them. Frozen foods on the other hand are much safer seeing as the freezing does kill most pathogens.

I don't think a regular freezer will do that. Or else any frozen fish could be "sushi grade".

And again, to reiterate I said “most” pathogens. And by pathogens I mean more along the lines of parasitic critters. Not that it completely kills all bacteria.

Many people feed frozen/thawed shellfish and fillets to their larger carnivores with no ill effects. When I first started keeping my axolotl I froze little strips of sucker fish I caught in spring to thaw and feed later on. No issues there.
