So I have 3 albino Cory cats and a couple months ago they layer eggs but they all got a fungus. They haven’t spawned since then. Can they lay eggs without a male? Or do I have a male?

I believe they need a male. Hence why they make their T shaped breeding postures to inseminate the eggs. I'm still waiting for my Albinos to lay eggs but i've gotten eggs from my Pepper and Green corys growing up in a 5.5 gallon.

Ok so I definitely have a male right? Do you think there is a reason all the eggs fungussed over last time and they haven’t laid eggs since? I’m doing lots of cool water changes and really fattening them up, is there anything else I can do?

Females can lay infertile eggs without a male present. I think @kallililly1973 misunderstood your question to mean do they have to have a male to lay fertile eggs.

The males are smaller, the females get really round when they are gravid. You would be able to tell better from an overhead view. Gotta pic?
