Can An Assassin Snail Eat A Molly?

So when I was about 8 I had a 10 gal tank that had two Dalmatian mollies and an assassin snail and was highly planted. I came home the day after I bought the assassin snail and one of the mollies has dissapeared. I didn't check if it jumped, but the assassin snail was out of sight. The other one dissapeared the next day. Is there a chance the assassin snail ate them?? Or did they just commit suicide?

An assasin snail wouldn't be able to take down a fully grown molly, however, if they dies in the tank it might of been possible that your assasin snail ate the remains.

Thank you! I was really curious about the capability of my assassin snails.

It'd take more than a day to eat a whole molly. Seems more likely fish died and parents removed them.

I know that my parents didn't remove them because they didn't really care about my fish tank, and they didn't know anything about caring for one, and even if they did, they would have told me and I wouldn't have to had told them.
