I'm setting a new tank, I cycled the tank and added a few snails. Today I went to my LFS to buy some guppies and a few plants, and in the bag of the plants, I found some snails (as usual) and a shrimp. I really can't identify the shrimp but I'm almost certain it's an amano shrimp.
In the past, I've heard that amano preyed on fry and small fish. But I really don't know anything about shrimp, so I'm just guessing.
Is it fine to leave the amano in the tank or should I return him to my LFS asap??
