Hi

I am looking to make a DIY decoration for my tank and need it to stick to the side. I'm worried that it might be too heavy for a suction cup and was thinking of using a strong magnet. Can a magnetic affect water chemistry? I have aquarium safe super glue.

Thanks in advance

Magnets won't affect it as long as it's a coated magnet and not something like a magnetized chunk of iron which might rust. Magnets are usually coated with plastic or rubber, but best to check.

Have you ever heard of magfloat. They are algae scrapers and they use magnets.
