Can a Green Severum be a peaceful tank mate with Blood Parrots?

I've got a 125 Gallon tank that I would really like to add a larger fish to share with my main fish - 2 Blood Parrots. I've been reading about the Green Severum and have spoken with a few people that have had them, I'm mostly hearing that it would be "safe" to add one to the mix in this tank.

I'm looking for advice if this would be a good choice -
I'm also wondering if I add a Green Severum, is one okay on it's own or do they need more mates of their species?

Thank you for your time - x

I have Green and white severums in my community and the only aggression I get is my large white will protect zucchinI until he has eaten so much he looks like he will explode otherwise super placid

A Severum should be fine in a 125 with Parrots. I love your hound dog!

Well, it's been decided then, I'm going to pursue adding a green severum. I've gotten all positive responses including a PM I sent to a fellow Fishlore member with GS experience. Thank you very much for your time BDpups and Littlebudda!
BDpups, the hound is a TON of work but quite the hoot!! Thank you -

I have several severums. They are unique to me in that that can co exist with peaceful fish, but if put in a a more aggressive tank, can definitely hold their own. Great fish that add color and size to a larger tank.

I have a pair of basset hounds. I understand the work needed with a hound dog Definitely rewarding and loving dogs!

I've got two Blood Parrots with a Green Severum, along with other fish in a 125. I've never had a problem with the Severum. They are great fish.

I received my shipment of fish, I ordered 2 green severum and some other fish. Unfortunatley, when the delivery was made the corner of the box was wet... sure enough, it was my bag of GS's that was leaking and only had about 3/4 cup of water left in it and obviously no oxygen. 1 died right away and the other one was in tough shape but I dosed the tank with Melafix and Pimafix and he looks great now! He had completely lost his back tail fin but it's growing back very nicely
Here is my question:
The fish is about 1 1/2" in size right now. It would not be the smallest fish in my 125 if I moved it there now but it would be close... Is it best to wait for a month or so to give it more time to grow before moving it into it's forever home or is now okay? It's been in the quarantine tank for 3 weeks now.
Thank you for any help you can provide!

I'd wait to make sure it's healed and is healthy. A 55 will be fine for a long time.

Because I've never owned one before, I wasn't sure if it should be added to the tank when it's younger/smaller, so the other fish in the tank can establish alpha over it? Or am I overthinking this thing?
I'll see if I can attach a picture of it from my phone so you can see how it looks.

It's back fin was a bloody little stump when it came out of the bag as well as creepy cottony looking stuff hanging from it's other fins. I'm so pleased with how well it looks!!
