Thinking about adding one of these to my tank. I already have a common pleco and golden nugget. Wondering if anyone knows if this Loach would fit in well? How big do they get?

and heres some more info
They need cooler, fast running, highly oxygenated water. You need several, singles from my experience don't do well.

Yes that is the one Tom. Yes I did read they need to be in at least 2 or 3's to do well. Is there something that oxygenates water?

So do you have a set up like suggested in that article? How long have you had them and how many do you have?

The best tank set up I ever had was a 20 gallon long unheated tank(there was a heater set at 65F just in case) with a bubbler down the whole back to provide more water movement and as such more oxygen. Most of the time I kept two filters on it also to make sure the water was super clean. Lots of rocks with algae and plants. I kept white clouds with them for dithers. They are well worth setting up a special tank for them I had had them almost three years and there were nine. I just lost all of them during a recent move.

Sorry to hear they didn't make it through the move. Maybe I will convert my 30 gallon once I upgrade that tank to a bigger one.
