Bushy plants for 5.5g?

Hi, I've started a 5.5g in preparation for a pea puffer; this is what I have currently:

Mopani wood, dragon stone, Cholla wood, crypt. lucens, dwarf sag, flourite black substrate, low-tech

The top half of the tank looks kind of empty, and I want to fill the space with a bushy-looking plant. Can someone recommend me a green plant (no hornwort/anacharis) that can add volume to the upper level of the tank but doesn't get too big? I've tried pogostemon erectus but it doesn't like my water.

I'd go for some cabomba. I'm not really sure on how big it gets/ how fast it grows, but it can always be trimmed back if necessary. You can plant it or just let it float. If you're looking for plants that are exclusively floaters, I'd go for some dwarf water lettuce or red root floaters. These both have some pretty long roots. I feel I should note that red root floaters need ferts (I believe ones with iron) if you want them to actually be red.
