Bumps On My Betta

So I was looking at my betta last night and I noticed on his body two bumps on him. I have never seen this before on another betta and it looks like the scales on those two bumps are kind of messed up and showing my Bettas skin. There is not any blood and he is always at the top of the tank except for about every half an hour he will swim for about 5 minutes. He still eats fine and he lives in a ten gallon heated and filtered aquarium with enough place to hide at the temp of 78°F

I just ran out of test strips a few days ago and I am going to get them tomorrow. So I will check then as soon as I get home. I have a photo of what his bumps look like. I couldn't get a good enough shot of him so I had to use a net. I usually don't use one since they can damage there fins. P.S. sorry I had my flash on it was an accident.

Looks like dropsy or fluid buildup from Aeromonas bacteria. If you catch it now you can save him, if you don’t it will get worse. What are your parameters? How big is the tank? How often do you clean it? Was the tank cycled? More background on the tank will help me diagnose him

He unfortunately passed the night after I wrote this.

He probably had dropsy. Small tanks, inadequate filtration, and infrequent water changes.
