Bumblebee Catfish Fat???

Ok. I have a bumblebee catfish in a 45 gallon tank with some other fish. I don't think I need to list them. I don't see my bumblebee very much, as they like to hide during the day since they are nocturnal. He was recently out a little roaming around and I realized that he is starting to get a bit fat in the tummy. Am I feeding him too much? I feed him and a baby clown loach 2 bottom feeder tablets daily and usually some frozen bloodworms (But my clown loach mainly eats those). Is this too much?

You can fast him a few days to see if he thins up a little, you don't need to feed them every day. If you he remains fat, you could be looking at a she, constipation, or infection. If the fasting helps, reduce feeding or have days of fasting in your feeding schedule. Adult fish can go a couple of weeks without food, so your not going to hurt him with fasting.

Keep in mind that Clown loaches get over 12" in size and need to be in groups of 5+ in order to live healthy lives.

Depends which ones they are. The common Asian ones get to about 5-6".

Which species? The usual, Microglanis, stay small, about 3", but there are bigger 'versions' that might be occasionally sold as bumblebees.
