Bumblebee Catfish Dilemma

So, I was offered a 3 inch bumblebee catfish for a fair price, and my immediate answer was that I didn't think it would be right for my tank, but that I'd get back to them. My questions are the following:
I have heard from some that they max out at about 3 inches, others says they can get almost twice or three times that large. So which is true?
Also Ive heard that they're good community tank mates, but have also heard they'll actually eat anything that fits in their mouth, from shrimp to fish.
I tend to believe the latter is true as catfish are notorious for eating whatever they feel like at the time.
So my ultimate question is, if it were to go in my large community tank, how big would it become and would my inhabitants be in danger? I currently have the following in this tank:

X2 ghost catfish (want more, can never find them!)
X2 long-finned gold danios (might get 1 to 3 more,)
X1 male cobra guppy
X2 female fancy guppies
X2 gold skirt tetras
X5 ember tetras
X2 ghost shrimp
X1 male crowntail betta
X2 Balloon mollies (lost 2 almost immediately)

Bumblebee can easily get 6" long, have a BIG mouth, and will eat anything that fits in it. Mollies and the glass cats are the only thing I'm pretty sure he won't eat.

Oh goodness! I'm glad I erred on the side of caution then! I adore all of my fish and would be so despondent if something ate them. It's a wee little thing and we've never had one in my store so I've never actually observed one. So something like that could only be in with much larger fish than I tend to keep. Phew. I'll stick with getting some corydoras and a few more glasscats then! Thank you so much. I was concerned too because it's a south American fish and I'm not sure my tank parameters would be ideal anyway. I'm so grateful for your input!

First off RIP your ghost shrimp, all of your fish in there will eat them.
Glass catfish need schools, same with your daninos, and gold skirt tetras. I would up each fish to x5 unless you don't have enough room. Instead of bumblebee catfish do Corydoras! Such a cute animal

I picked up the number they had of each. I have a priority to up the schooling fishes numbers. As soon as I can find any. I figured they'd either be in low numbers in the store tank or low numbers in my tank and the only difference is that my tank has no dead fish in it. All of the fish have left my shrimps alone for the weeks I've had them. It's a tall tank and they seldom venture to the bottom, and even when the shrimp are swimming upward the others don't so much as nip them. I've been lucky. But as ghost shrimps go these guys are pretty large anyway. I keep my fish well fed and entertained and so far,so good. I keep an eye on the shrimps because I know there's a chance they'd be fishbait, but thus far, none of the fishes seem to care that there's shrimp.
My tetras, Danios and glasscats all need their numbers boosted. It's just a matter of finding more to begin with. I called around and no one has glasscats at the moment. This Thursday my store gets in their fish shipment so I'm really hoping we get some of the danios and skirts and maybe, with a prayer, we'll get ghostcats. We so seldom do. If I have to I'll order them online but I haven't had great luck with that. If anyone could recommend a good online seller, that'd be great.
Corydoras are one of my favorite cats. I love the albinos and panda corys especially, but I have yet to meet any type I didn't automatically love lol.

The majority of my shrimps are in my fry tank. The two in my main tank were getting so large I was concerned about space for them which is why they're in the large tank. If I see any sign of aggression towards them I'll relocate them back to the fry tank. My fish are my hobby and I take everything seriously and monitor everything.

I have ghost shrimp with a ram and the worst I've seen was the ram pecked at 'Big Momma' and she pecked back. If they have places to hide they'll be fine.

Between the plants and decor, many with cubbies in them, the shrimps and any other fish have plenty of hiding places.
