Guys,
I bought 2 Bolis months ago.
One started thriving, but it is because he is a bully.

the other became skinnier and skinnier and lost his color. I recently decided to rectify the situation and isolate the traumatized one.

He is in one of my 20s. He is eating more and more each day and his colors are coming back!! :)

I think he is going to survive and get stronger and maybe he will put the other one in his place if I put him back in the main tank. Or, maybe I will just put him in with the Mollies.

If the other one was a bully, I'm pretty sure you're problem is that the bully was getting all the food which isn't uncommon. You could try feeding from two different areas in the tank.

If the fish has a history of not eating because of being bullied putting him with mollies may not be the best idea.

Ok, thank you, JettsPapa.
I will keep him in the isolation tank then.
I think he would still get bullied in my main tank :(

You can try to strengthen him up, but it may go right back to the same situation when you put him back in. With that said though, it isn’t impossible for him to be just fine in there either

Yes, I just thought about that after JettsPapa
told me that.

I just want him to be ok.

Since you added Green Tiger Barbs into your Mollie aquarium, it would not be sensible to add a Bolivian Ram in there too, especially a Ram who is likely to be very timid after bullying

I wish he wasn’t so pale. He did just eat some brine shrimp
