Building bubble nest question

Hi everyone. I'm just curious as to if there's anything else I can add to my Bettas tank that he can build a bubble nest under?

He's been trying to make one on the surface of the water for a few days but because of the movement it always gets destroyed. He's been trying to build one all day and it makes me feel bad for him.

 

You can try some tubing in a loop on the surface, might give him a still enough surface.

I attached my floating log to the side of my betta's tank and he seems to like building his bubble nest in/around it. I attached it with the betta hammock he never used like this:
