Bubbler Or Airstone?

I need to answers. What is the difference between a bubbler and an airstone?

Also, the second question is:
I'm wanting a small to medium sized bubbling stone/ airstone for my aquarium to increase surface turbulence, but I'm so confused as to what I should get.
My budget is around 20 dollars, and I don't need the most powerful thing, just one that looks appealing to me.
I'm looking for an airstone/bubbler that is around 2 inches at its widest point.
Any ideas as to what I need?
I know I need airline tubing, but jm not sure about the pump, valves (if needed), and the actual airstone...

They’re the same thing lol.

You’ll need the air stone, air pump, air line tubing, and check valve.

That makes sense lol.
Do you have any specific examples of a good air pump? I heard that there's a gallon rating on each one, and my tank is a 20 gallon long.

Also, do you know a way of hiding the airline tubing, or attaching it to the side? I think suction cups might work for the tubing, but I'm not sure...

I don’t think it matters which one you use. I’ve used the “nano” Hpumps in my 20 gals(I wouldn’t recommend the brand though). And I don't really use them in my tanks anymore.

I like the suction cup idea, but they barely ever work. The suction starts to give up after a while, IME. You can try hiding it behind tall decorations or something, idk.

Instead of using that, I'm probably just going to buy a sponge filter for my breeding tank, since I'm doing it for my snails.
Any recommendations as to what I should buy for my 20 gallon high snail tank? I know nothing about wquipment, and I was wondering what I should use in terms of piping size, sponge size, pump strength, and any additional hardware I might need

I'm new to airstones, and I'm not sure what I should get.
I need one for my 20 gallon long.

There's really no right or wrong airstone, they come in various sizes, shapes and colors, you just need to choose what you like best.
I personally like the cylinder shaped ones, but that may not be the case for you.
