Bubble thing on Spotted Gar's eye

Hello ,
2 days ago bought 2 ,6" spotted gars , they are in my outdoor pond , yesterday I noticed there was a buble kinda thing on the right eye of one of my gar (popeye?)
What it might be ?
What is the treatment?
Will my gar recover?

 

It’s entire popeye,injury,water parameters are too high, or infection. Or it’s just completely normal and that’s his eye and your freaking out. Oh and welcome to fish lore

 

No his eyes were fine when I bought him..
Please suggest me something so I can cure him

 

Quartine him away from others. Treat with Epsom salt (unscented,no dye)

nice!, I'm trying to get mine to eat goldfish.

 

So I just watched a video about feeders (look up the new king of DIY video). He mentioned that goldfish are very unhealthy to feed. You might want to take a look.

OP: It could be an injury since you just purchased them. Hopefully it will clear up quickly.

yea, I watched it. I just have nothing but gold fish unless I wanna pay .30 a piece. (some guy always buys the maxium amount of guppies possible as soon as he can.

 

Like he mentioned in the video, it's best to raise your own feeders if you are set on feeding live. Otherwise, it's much healthier to find another option. (sorry OP for derailing ... last comment, I promise!).
