I feel like I post a lot of silly questions but here I am, back with another one: I just cleaned my bettas tank and now he’s got what seems to be a bubble stuck to the side of his head? Just at the top of the gill like it’s trapped there. He won’t sit still for a photo he’s too busy checking out the new plant I put in. If it doesn’t go away should I be worried? Is there a way I can get him to get rid of it? Is it even an issue?
Many thanks for putting up with my new-fish-owner queries.

Update: I think it’s actually a scale or two that came loose when I had to move him to clean his tank, poor guy. He doesn’t seem unhappy about it though so maybe it’ll just come loose on it’s own?

May you post some pics? That would help in the diagnosis.
Best I could get, he’s simply not interested in having his photos taken.
