The bubble magus QQ1 nano hang on the back protein skimmer rated for and aimed at nano salt water aquariums up to 25 gallons/100 litres.
4OUT OF 5 STARS. ️️️️

I received my QQ1 5 days ago and its been running since on my 32g rimless reef tank. The product is pretty user friendly and once set up runs virtually silent pulling undissolved organic waste from the water column.

thats 5 days skim mate, the product is very good at its job and is aesthetically pleasing and compliments any closed system with its sleek design, you can also feel the build quality.

This product would have easily pulled five stars from me but sadly for the skimmer to function you have to fill the aquarium about 3 inches from the rim which i find to be a pretty big flaw personally so I'm awarding 4 stars.

Nice review it looks like a good product, it's amazing how much gunk can come out of a seemingly spotless tank!

Had this thing over 3 months now I'm confident it's built to last.

I base this on the fact it's still going like a new one, it's all good quality plastic and simply just a bubble magus sp 600 pump and needle wheel.

Skimming is something a lot of reefers don't do full time, my findings with this skimmer are that it's designed to be used around the clock rather than on a schedule due to its finicky nature and the fact that it just isn't a big super effective unit. That being said I would recommend and advise this product for 25 gallon and under closed system set ups all day long.

Thanks for coming back to this Grant... I've been meaning to ask you about the water level. When you say it needs to be 3 inches, do you mean exactly that? Or, could it be 3 inches or less from the rim?

Uh.. yeah, I don't think I need a skimmer right now... still wish nitrates would go up! It's always good to have ideas for later though and I appreciate you taking the time to let us know how this one's working for you.

To answer your question stella1979 the water line has to be 3 inch minimum from the top, you could fill to the brim if you wanted, but the high water line need was a set back to me as I like a sway in the tank, sway with a high water line is risky lol.

its lights out but you see the minimum water line, I just thought why not have it lower for people like me.
