BRs Not Eating

Hey everyone!
So in my 29 gallon planted tank, I have had 2 bolivian rams in it for a little over 2 months now and I just never see them eating anything. Obviously they are because they are alive but I never see them eat in person. I have tried giving them tropical flakes simply because it is what the other fish eat in the tank, then I have the cichlid sinking pellets which I think I saw them taste it but then spit it out, and then bloodworms. I figured, with bloodworms being a good treat, they would definitely eat them right away. I put in the bloodworms for the second time today and the rams just watch it all float right by them. I know that they like to eat off of the ground but then they don't do that either. Then when I check a while later, most of the food is gone but I always wonder if it is just the other fish coming back for more. If anyone can help with this and let me know why they are doing this, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

How do they look? Is there stomach filled?
I have a glass bony like this. I’ve had it for 6 months and seen it eat two or three times. It’s stomach always looks full so I don’t worry too much about it.

All my rams are the same way!
I have gotten my rams to eat mysis (am I spelling that right?) shrimp in front of me, they go crazy for it.
If your fish look healthy, I wouldn’t be concerned, but I do understand that a large joy in fish keeping is watching your fish eat.

Mysis is great food and great nutrition especially if you can get the enriched version.

I don't see my BRs out after lights out, they are primarily a diurnal fish. Not to disrepect MEWaters, but this is just in my experience.

Have you tried live foods or foods laced with garlic?

"Bolivians" my favorite.
Based on my experience (raised hundreds), they will take in the pellets/crumbles then spit them out. Just their nature they are primarily sand sifters. Mine enjoy a smorgasbord of pellets/crumbles, freeze dried blackworms and blood worms. Along with frozen bloodworms and mysis shrimp 1 or 2 times week. They will eat flakes if nothing else is available.
As far as activity mine always come up to "Greet" me (actually just begging for food) lights on or off.
As you mentioned after 2 months and still alive they are obviously eating.

Good Luck!

Ok! They look fine but I just want to be safe.
