Recently, in my 10 gal betta tank, I've been noticing some weird green dots that cover the leaves of a lot of my plants.
I've done a bit of online research and have seen that it could possibly be diatom algae? I'm not entirely sure and having someone else's opinion would be great! Also if there is anything I can do to get rid of/reduce it, that would also be super helpful.

Diatoms should go away in a few weeks as the silicates in the tank are used up. They're common in new tanks.

For now, you can rub them off before a water change.

How long do you leave the lights on?
