I am getting some brown algae build up around the tank. Recommendations on a brush for the tank and or any other recommendations.
Thank you in advance,
Frank

I usually just get one of those aquarium scrubbers with a long handle from walmart or petco or petsmart. Those work pretty good and the handle should be long enough to not have to get wet. Just make sure you have a bucket handy as they drip a lot when you take them out of the tank.
Also, maybe a nerite snail can help, if your betta doesn't decide to destroy it. My bettas pretty much ignore them.

If its brown hair type, be sure to vac real well for decaying plant debris. If regular diatom algae just use brush and water changes. I have the brush set from petco but its aggravating to change the attachments.

An unused toothbrush works well for decorations and silicone.
