Couple months ago I tore down my tank due to slimy black hairy looking algea that was getting worse and worse the harded I tried to remove it.
I've done some water changes and added cycle, plant additives & aqua plus.
Today I noticed brown looking algea on the glass. Looks like it will be easy to remove. Never had bown before.
Not too worried about it unless someone thinks otherwise.

    Good morning,

Sounds like Diatoms which is very common in newly set up aquariums even up to a year or more. It will eventually stop on its own in time. It should be easy to remove and not as stubborn as some other types of algae.

As thought the algea came off the class really easily. However while doing this I noticed that the plants looked like they had a very loose dusty layer of the algea on them aswell and they did. Should this concern me at all?
