So I have a 10 gallon tank with a singular blue crayfish. I have been having really bad brown algae issue for about maybe 2 weeks now and keeping up with it is getting hard for me. The brown algae covers almost the entire surface of an ornament and has laid siege on almost everything including fake plants, other ornaments, and gravel. At first I thought I might had been some real sand that we had put in there so I cleaned out the entire tank but that didn’t seem to work. I’ve taken out ornaments and put bathed them in a bleach/water solution and heavily rinsed them but the algae is still popping up. I don’t want to get an algae eater because my cray has killed one before. Is there a way to stop it eating my tank? And is there any good cleaner fish or inverts that can stay with a blue cray?
