Brown Alage??

I've been seeing these brown spots appearing in my tank. I'm thinking its some type of algae, but its been in my tank for a couple of days. I've been able to wipe some of it off but it comes back. Is there some way to get rid of it?

Pics didnt work for me too. Search diatoms and see if that's what it looks like. If so it normally takes care of itself after a while

Especially if this is a newly-established tank, diatoms are very common and not harmful at all. They’ll also go away on their own in time.

It sure sounds like diatoms. They are very common in newly set up tanks. While unsightly, they are harmless and will go away on their own eventually. Unlike green algae, diatoms prefer less light. Many people who are fighting a diatoms outbreak reduce the time they have their light of hoping to kill if off like you would for green algae, only to find it getting worse.

So just try to be patient and it will go away in time.
