5 Gallon Tank Bronze Cory Eggs! Her 2nd/2nd and a 1/2 Clutch!

Hello, everyone! How my female had about 200 eggs last night is beyond me, but I woke up, and there only were somewhere between 20-30. :( Of course, the little food hogs had plenty of food, more than I usually feed them, and they STILL ate their eggs. I rescued them this morning, so they are safe in my breeder box. So far, it's been less than 24 hours, and they at first were white/opaque to a clear, VERY light tan. Since my male breeds with her 24/7, most eggs ought to be viable! :D I'm hopeful! I'm keeping a close eye on them, and I have my bubbler stick underneath the box, and I'll move the water around manually when I get home from work. I don't have any fungus repellant other than some bacterial and fungal medicine, but I'd rather not mess with it just yet. I've been putting in Stress Coat + every day for my betta. Is it okay to continue even with the eggs in there? I doubt it would hurt them, but I'm just checking. My betta needs his meds, and I'd hate to stop them since his fins need it. By the way, he's super active and happy now, racing around like a fool. His dorsal fin was initially just a string of fin, but now, it's a white/light blue nub with dark coloring spreading up to it. I'm so happy that he's feeling better and eating. :D I think my cories took advantage of the extra food I've been feeding my betta and the relaxation from the Stress Coat. :D Has anyone else seen about 200 eggs come out of their bronze cory on her second/ 2 1/2 clutch?

The funny thing was today, I wanted to do a water change with cold water to get her to lay her eggs, but she decided yesterday was the day! I don't know what I'm going to do with all these babies! I'll probably give them to my LFS for store credit and bring my gouramis, too.

If you guys are interested, I'll post pics of the eggs!

I've had about 120 eggs not sure but think it was her 2nd, I normally use methylen blue to stop them getting fungus but in your case its not wise to add another med
Stress coat may help but I dont know

I woke up to 2 fry! They are speedy little things! They seem healthy and don't seem to have any birth defects!!! I've been out of the house for many hours (about 8) so I might have more when I get home! I am so excited! I'll keep you all posted!
Would fry pictures be appreciated? If the little buggers stay still, that is!

Today is a sad day- somehow all of the fry, minus one or two, got out of the breeder box. The mother cory was sucking aggressively on the bottom the the box last night and I think she sucked them all up. :( Hopefully the remaining one/two survives. I gave him/them 3 big pieces of hard boiled egg yolk to munch on. I put a net breeder box around the breeder box so that should keep them in. The holes in the breeder box are really small so I don't know how they could have fit through.
From about 24 to 1-2....... :( :( :( I'm going to see if I can set up my new 10 gallon then breed my female and male again.

Hard build egg is not the best at this age, they need a liqua fry or first bits, they consume the liquid better
I wonder if DoubleDutch is about he may advise different but whst I've mentioned works for me

I have first bites and frozen baby brine shrimp. Should I remove the egg when I get home? I read that hard-boiled egg would work?
