Bronze Cory Behavior

So I just bought some bronze corys, and they school together. However, they swim up and down a lot, is this normal or what's happening? Water parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and 10 nitrates, PH is 7.6

that is normal, mine do it all the time, and the new ones I just got do it too
I just read this: Corydoras catfish have a labyrinth organ that allows them to breath atmospheric oxygen. In fact, they must have access to oxygen from both the air and from the water (they also have gills) or they won't survive. Although corydoras are bottom dwellers you will frequently see them come to the surface for a gulp of air.

They are glass surfing, give them some time to settle in and they should calm down a little. (Mine get active during feeding time and when they are spawning, so 4-6 times a week they are scootering around the tank quickly)

Okay, I'll see what happens in a week. Currently they are terrified of me, but hopefully it changes in a week. They do love glass surfing at the moment.

Mine still move away from me when I startle them (my other cories do it just to spite me, because they come back out if I hold still and don't move), but otherwise they ignore the giant face peering in at them.
