Bristlenose pleco poop

OMG.. Is all this poop normal? It's the first time I see our Bn pleco to poop this much.




The pleco is on the right, on the wood, and you can see the loooooong string of poop to the center. (The dalmatian molly is photobombing the pic.)

Yes it is . A Pleco owners best friend is a turkey baster, and not the one that you use to baste the thanksgiving turkey, Just get a cheap one at the dollar store. works great for pleco poop. What did he eat? and how big is he. What goes in one end of a pleco, comes out 45 minutes later . They are worth it though . I have three BN plecos and they are my favorite of all my fish. Thanks, Alison. He is 2 inches and I feed him an algae wafer every other day and he loves to be just snacking on the driftwood.

 

He also should have fresh veggies 24/7 . If you go to the thread PLECOS!! Share yours on page 3 I wrote up a list of veggies and fruit for them and feeding Ideas for BN plecos, works for others as well.
