Bristlenose Pleco - Eating Enough?

So I am wondering if my new pleco gets enough to eat? She has only been with me for a week and shares a tank with platies and pristella tetra. I have been feeding her algae/vege wafers when the tank lights go off, of which she gets a small amount of before the platies steal it. She is getting better at fighting them off and also does some tank cleaning after dark. After some advice on how to know if she gets enough and what else I can start her on, like vegies. I am very new so am after very simple options please. Ta!

You can either just slice and stick a fork through the zuchhuI or blanch and just let the zuchhuI sink down in the water.
