    44202ABA-132F-4415-BD61-9DE7F434848F.jpeg So i bought a bristlenose couple of weeks ago. I really want to start breeding these fish but im not sure what gender this bristlenose is. I know that the males have spikes on their nose and the female have a much rounder body. Its about 6cm long so its not its full size.. How and when am i 100% sure What gender it is?     Looks like he/she might be a little too small/young to tell yet.
    Females will have no bristles at all (like yours currently), or very short bristles along the lip. The males will develop them all the way up their nose and face. But this usually doesn't start until around 3 inches.

    Time will tell :)
