Bristle nose catfish not eating

HI all
I have a pair of bristle nose catfish that have bred twice.
My female bristle nose used to always eat zuchinI and algae wafers as son as I would put them in the tank and my male would tend to wait a while before eating.

For about two weeks now my female has not been eating anything I put in the tank. She will not even go near it. However my male now eats the food put in the tank straight away.

Could she be staying away from the food because of the male? Or maybe some sort of parasite is effecting here? I'm getting worried as she seems to be getting thinner.

They are still young fish and my female is only a little over 2 inches.

Anyone have an idea about what's going on?

really have no idea, sorry.

is there anything else it could be eating that you aren't intending? I think mine ate several of my cherry shrimp and she also eats "algae-infused" moss occasionally.

Try other veggies and put them in two separate areas in the tank. In the Plecos!! share yours I did a post on page 3 about halfway down the page on feeding BN plecos with a list of many varieties of veggies and fruits, they also need some protein as well such as bottom feeder pellets, shrimp pellets Frozen thawed blood worms or frozen thawed brine shrimp. It is a current running thread that is found in the photo forum as well. Please give it a read and feel free to ask any questions. Alison
