HI all
I have a pair of bristle nose catfish that have bred twice.
My female bristle nose used to always eat zuchinI and algae wafers as son as I would put them in the tank and my male would tend to wait a while before eating.
For about two weeks now my female has not been eating anything I put in the tank. She will not even go near it. However my male now eats the food put in the tank straight away.
Could she be staying away from the food because of the male? Or maybe some sort of parasite is effecting here? I'm getting worried as she seems to be getting thinner.
They are still young fish and my female is only a little over 2 inches.
