Breeding gardneri killifish?

Hi all. Over the past few months since i bought this pair of gardneri killies i have seen multiple small spawns all over the tank but today the male has finally claimed the java moss as his own. He was lying in it this morning and this evening him and his girlfriend were spawning a lot in it. I heard they spawn at night and in the morning so tomorrow im going to remove the java moss and shake out any eggs into a bowl. They are in a community tank atm. I think they take about 2 weeks to hatch so maybe they will be hatching around the time my neon fry will hatch, could i raise them together? Ill keep you posted tomorrow when i do it, just giving you a heads up if you want to watch the thread. Here is a picture of my male.

No, you can't raise them together. At birth, the killies will be ready to eat baby Neons. They hatch hungry and ready to hunt.

Killifish do have pretty big mouths so it really might be a problem. I would separate them

I can see eyes in the egg now. It has been in water the whole time, how long should it take until it hatches now?

The fry is 3 days old. Im adding bbs and bananaworms to its tub and doing water changes every day. I haven't actually seen it eat... it spends most of its time sitting near the bottom and then swims around every so often. How can i tell if its eating? I cant tell if it has an orange tummy because the cokour of its bidy is already orange. I can see it sitting with bbs and bananaworms right infront of it but it doesnt seem to pay them any attention from what i have seen.

The litle killifish is growing fast! Has developed the fins of an adult but is still very small, i moved it into my 20 gallon inside a breeder box today. She eats bananaworms and i am going to feed her bbs tomorrow. Very cute and healthy hopefully it is female because that would allow me to keep her, i would have to rehome a male.
