Breeding Electric Blue Acaras?

HI everyone! So a little back story.. I started with two Eba but My fish were dealing with some sort of parasite and one of them passed away. Now my fish are doing way better and my husband surprised me with another little eba. It is soo cute but looks a lot different than my others. It has a white head.. looks like it is wearing a black mask and has a really long egg tube. Female?? My other bigger one just has a smaller egg tube so now I'm guessing that's a male. They are shaking infront of each other, ripping my plants (little buggers lol) and looks like the smaller one is guarding a cave. Breeding behavior? Yep! that little one is a girl who is ready to spawn! The females get that mask on their face when they are in spawning mode. And the breeding tube is very telling as well!!

And yes, that sounds like they are showing mating behavior. Congrats on the pair!

This is what they have been doing all day lol! And they have been going in and out of the little cave. I literally could just keep watching them. It is soo entertaining!
