Breeding Bn Plecos

HI so I have this male and female bn I think it was the males first time because he didn’t seem to know what to do. He ended up throwing the eggs out of the cave. And at first wouldn’t even go in a cave or get near the female .
I have baby’s now .
But I’ve seen breeder online and read somewhere about either adding water from a livebearer tank or adding livebearers like guppies to the tank to add those pheromones/hormones and increase breeding behavior .
Doesn’t anyone know anything about this ?

I'm not sure, sorry, mine never had an issue spawning. Kicking the eggs out is pretty common at first though, I wouldn't be real worried

I think just adding cool water to a tank after a water change should be plenty to encourage breeding if they are ready.

When they'll start (nothing special needed) they won't stop. So be sure you can get rid of the fry.
