I grabbed a Brazilian Sword on a Buy-Two-Get-One-Free sale, and after some research, turns out to be Spathiphyllum, or better known as the Peace Lily, which I know to be a house-plant, so not really an aquatic.

Since it won't survive in my tank, I'm thinking of pulling it out and potting it up. Do I have to prepare the plant for terrestrial survival in any way? Has anyone else pulled semi-aquatics out of their tanks and grown them out in a pot?

Definitely pot them, and they don't need much special needs

So just take them out of my tank and pot them up? It won't shock them or anything?

    Yes.
They'll take time to adjust though
