Boy Or A Girl Siamese Fighting Fish?

Hi,

Quick question, is this Siamese fighting fish a female or male? I'm having a very difficult time figuring it out as I am new to keeping one of these fishes.

If the is too unclear I'll try to take a better one, it's quite active so it's difficult to get a good one

If you see a white dot between the ventral fins, it's a girl. I'm guessing girl because of the rounded belly.

It will be a very obvious dot on the belly of the fish. Male bettas have no marking whatsoever in that spot. Sounds like you got a female.
