The smaller one wasn't the one I wanted when I went and picked another GBR. The other one was significantly more pretty. But after she has such a hard time and already bagged it up, I just took it. I thought perhaps it would color up once it adjusted to my tank... But it hasn't. So I thought then 1 of 3 things.
1. It's a female.
2. It's not a GBR
3. Bad genetics
The thought that it might be just too young crossed my mind, but the other fish at the LFS was smaller and BRIGHTLY colored.
Any thoughts?
