Bolivian trouble...

Ok, so everybody,
I recently aquired a male BR, and wanted to get him a mate, so I stopped by a LFS and picked up a female BR.... ok, so fast forward a couple hours; she's now in my 60 gallontank, but the problem arises now, the male doesn't seem to like. he keeps chasing her and nips at her caudal fin as well as at her side. after a day now the 'aggression' kinda calmed down a little, but not by much. the female seems to stay on the one side of the tank while the male stays in the other side, occasionally coming over to her side to nip her again... strange thing is she doesn't seem stressed at all.
one thing you guy are probably gonna wonder is weather or not she really is a female. I'm very sure she's a female, if she turns out to be a male I'll be so flabbergasted.
thank you in advance.

You could always post a photo so someone that knows how to sex them can verify. Your tank is big enough to house two even if they don't pair up but I think if the nipping/aggression continues, you might have to rehome one.

Yea, I understand. I'll try to post a picture, except I don't have any kind camera available at the moment. although, I can clearly see by their breeding tubes, that's it's a male and a female, also the 'female' is smaller without the spiky dorsal fins, it also doesn't have much of the trailing caudal ends, is stouter in body shape than the 'male'. I'll try posting a pic when can though...

It may be breeding behavior. Or the male may be interested and the female isn't.

I wouldn't worry too much unless the female looks overly stressed or it seems the male is actually doing damage. If after a week or so it doesn't get better then I'd probably consider rehoming one or getting a second female to see if it causes a pair.
