Bolivian ram trouble.....

Last week I headed out with the intention of getting a pair of blue rams, whilst in there the guy showed me some bolivian ram, I fell in love with them and he suggested I get three. For the last week they have been inseparable in my tank and all has been dandy.....until today.

One of the rams has been pushed out completely and one of the other two rams (the same one each time) keeps chasing him. Is it safe to say that the ram that has been pushed out is a male and the one doing the chasing is male also or could it be possible that it is a female chasing off a rival female?

Also, could I resolve the situation by heading out and getting an opposite sex partner for the lone ram?

Thanks

When it comes to Bolivian Ram stocking, it is suggested to stock them 3f to 1 male. They like to be in Harems.

Can you post a picture of your B. Rams so we can determine what sex you have?

So is there no chance of me pairing this lonely fella off with a female of his own?

It is usually the dominant male that will spawn with the females. Are you sure the lone Ram is a male?

No I just presumed. Could it be a female being chased off by the male? Or another female chasing off another female?
