Today in going to the lfs to pick up a female ram to be a pair with my male I already have. If there's no female, would it be okay to get another male or will there be aggression issues?

Don't get 2 males as they will fight if in a small tank... they don't just pair if you have a male and female, they have to pair by themselves? They COULD pair.

What size tank? Two males could work in a big enough tank.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd add a second male. It may work out, but it also may not. I'd err on the side of caution and get a female.

I have two male GBRs in one of my current tanks. It's my pairing tank. The two males were all they had that trip. I plan to get three females and possibly one more male. They haven't had any instock at all since. It's best to have at least four if you want them to pair. The more you have, the better your chances at a pair. My two have liplocked once in the month I've had them. Minutes later, the two were swimming around together again.
