It is in my 72 gal tank. There are no visible signs of ich, none of the other fish are doing it.

Looking closely I noticed something weird on his eye. I added a pic but not sure if its clear or close enough.

I just did my weekly water change, water params 0, 0, 10 temp 80.

Any suggestions.

There are a number of reasons a fish might flash against rocks or other things in the tank. It could be a irritated scale, ich, fungus, a wound, anything. Really, all you can do is watch closely and see if it gets worse or if any of the other fish start to do it.

That's a pretty fish you got, btw.

Wow, he's really growing, Reds!

I'd just keep a really close eye on him. If you see any visible signs of ich, jack the temp of the tank up to 86.

I hope this helps and please keep us posted.

I haven't seen him do it again but it looks like something is on his eye, almost looks like a pimple.

I lost the other ram to camallanus worms. He's my favorite fish in the tank.
