Bolivian not doing great

20g community, cycled, 0/0/10, kept at 78 degrees.

Seems to have been on a downward trend the last couple weeks. Coloration darker yesterday and today.

Can't get it to eat much other than a nibble here or there of different pellets and a bit of bloodworm.

Curious if it has any other Bolivian Ram tankmates? I had a pair and one got bullied by the other, she started looking dark just like yours. Unfortunately her condition deteriorated very quickly and she didn’t make it.
I will say yours looks a bit red around the gills and a bit of a sunken belly, so there could be more going on here. I don’t have much insight otherwise, perhaps someone more experienced has ideas.

25% water changes every week. Ram is breathing heavier than it probably should (at the bottom, not the top). All other fish (platies, swordtail, glo tetras) doing great. No other rams, it doesn't get bullied by anyone, the other fish completely ignore it. Not thinking it has much longer.

Maybe the red gills could be gill flukes? Also, I agree that the stomach looks sunken. You might want to try and treat for gill flukes but I'm not sure.

Forgot to add five days ago I treated the tank with prazipro because I was worried about it's sunken stomach and not eating.

I’m sorry to hear. Let us know if the prazipro has any effect.

Thanks. Unfortunately the ram died today. Not sure what it was, but thankfully the other fish, shrimp, and snails all seem to be thriving.
