Boesmani Rainbowfish appearance question

Good morning. I have 3 boesemani and 3 turquoise rainbowfish in a 10 gallon quarantine tank at the monment. Sunday will make 3 weeks since I purchased them. I am attaching a picture of one of my boesemani (the pinkish one) rainbows. I know they're growing because I can tell they are already bigger. And I know they can be shaped differently and not necessarily oval, but I wanted to show it to you and see if you thought everything was normal. All the fish are acting normal. Very energetic. No signs of breathing trouble. I just done a 50% water change Sunday. As to feeding, I feed once per day Monday thru Friday rotating daily tropical granules, tropical flakes, bug bites, freeze dried bloodworms, then bug bites spirulina flakes. Then, I skip Sunday. I'm probably just fearful of something happening to them Lol...but I wanted someone else's opinion.

That doesn’t look like a boesemani to me. Looks more like a large pearl danio.

The pink ones are pearl danios, not any sort of rainbowfish.

Well I bought them 3 weeks ago from PetSmart in the Boesemani rainbowfish tank. And I told her that was what I wanted, and then I also bought 3 Turquoise. The pic below was them when I first bought them. I have noticed though that the turquoise have gotten a little darker blue. But only one of the others has gotten the yellow tail. The other 2 are still the same color they were... just a little bigger.

That doesn’t look like a boesemani to me. Looks more like a large pearl danio.

If so, they sold me the wrong fish. I just thought they would change color as they got bigger.

Someone else just said that. Dang it. I didn't catch it cause I thought they were just that color because they were small.
