So, my pleco likes to hide- that's normal and fine. But this time he has been missing 2 days. Idk where he is hiding...

5 danios

Did you remove all decor? Did you check the filter?

They hide for a living, throw some algae wafers in after lights out and sneak in 30 min later with a low key flash light. Creep mode engaged!

He doesn't like them.. Only eats cucumber and nibblea drift wood. Picky eater didnt come out for dinner..

I moved his cave and he wasn't there.. And filter is fishless.. My fear is he dug under the tree and went inside it. After work ill have to check.. Cant wait until he is bigger and can't fit in so many places

He went truly MIA and now he's out and about. He went in with baby stripes and now that he is back he has his big boy SPOTS!

Ill try to get a pic but this pic is last week. Now today he looks like a normal BN pleco! His spots came in fully. No more stripes! Its like he needed to hide so he could grow a little haha.

Edit: here he id today!

He's always had his spots... they were being hidden by the blotchy coloring that is caused by stress. So whatever the little guy went and did for 2 days...he did it to relieve some stress and now he's doing better LOL

As I said in the pleco thread, all I dod was add a dwarf gourami and he poofed and now hes fine. Maybe it distracted the annoying danios from him.
