2 concerns the white sore by the mouth and the fins look a little tattered. What a good med or remedy.

Hes In a 20 long for now. I have the 40breeder just haven't set it up. Parameters are 0,0,30-40 was darker than 20 lighter than 40. I did water change afterwards and got it down. GH 6 KH6 Tempis 74.acts fine is eating swimming and digging caves. I just added driftwood to tank, so lack of fiber maybe? Filtration is 200gph atm. And will be out of this tank as I'm setting up my sons 40 today or tommorow.

The first two attachments wouldn't work for me. From the pictures I can see he looks fine. getting his bristles. I wouldn't medicate with anything. Unless there is something I can't see in the other two attachments. If possible try and post a couple of pictures of his belly and mouth with him on the glass? They should always have real driftwood to rasp on and should also be getting fiber from the veggies and fruit that they eat and protein from some shrimp pellets, or bottom feeder wafers alternated with algae wafers. These were the 2 I posted above. I feel like the fins are a little thin, on pectorals.
Also the sore spot bothers me, that's near mouth.

Also I have been feeding zucchini, cucumber, algae pellets O.O., shrimp pellets also O.O., and frozen foods brine, bloodworms, mysis shrimp.

Is it possible that it is an injury of some sort? Either a nip by another fish or an injury due to something sharp like rock or the inside of an ornament ? I would just keep an eye on it and keep the water as clean as you can with smaller more frequent water changes. How long have you had him? His diet sounds good. Alison

The stripe in front of his dorsal comes back now and again but hes staying spotted now. (Only took him a month) my danios must have been annoying him and I added a DG and hes fine now. In a few weeks I'm adding more danios to chill them out. Anyway- nothen to worry about!

Beautiful pleco btw!!

Also- that's an adult. Some adults just have "winkles" lol. Looks normal to me. Maybe he had it in the past and healed? A lot of larger plecos have a few frays, but their fan like edges could naturally be a little like that too. Keep an eye on it. It. Gets worse then you can treat, but it looks healthy to me. Somethen might just be stressing him out. Is he super new?

Nomeds then? Heading to town now.
Weve had him maybe 3 weeks. Only habitants are 8 small kuhlI loaches. I plan on getting a few honey gourami when I get the 40 up and running.

I run a 20l with mine. Its pushing it for a BN. How big is yours? If its at a high 6inches or so maybe upgrade the base tank to a 30 for some more water vol. your gear should all fit. Same footprint
