Bn Pleco Death

I checked on all my fish this morning (a bn pleco & 3 panda cories) and they were fine. This evening I was about to do a water change and noticed that my bn girl was laying upside down over by a plant and turns out she was dead

I took her out and put her in a different container to get some pictures, she appears to have some white spots on her. The other three cories are doing fine, any ideas on why she died?

0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, about 40 nitrates

I think so. Here’s a full tank shot for reference. There’s about 6 pieces.

Around a year

 

I suspect it was not digesting foods properly, they can easily die from that.
